Negative Mud LL with PGNiG

What happened:

When running of 20″ x 13 3/8″ casing was planned to be on Sunday 4/9/22 we tried to get surge calculations from the mud engineer but the contract with SLB Mud stated that surge & swab calculations is only available weekdays between 08 am and 4 pm.

What was planned:

To run surge & swab calculation when needed for the sections offshore.

What was learned:

Surge & swab calculations from SLB Mud should either be available 24/7 or we should get the message that it’s only available in the given timeframe, so we can prompt them offshore in the defined time.

What actions are required:

Describe clearly if there is any limitations when surge & swab calculations is available from SLB Mud onshore.

What Was Done

The onshore duty from SLB Mud decided to still help out and provided the surge calculations for running casing in 1.30 sg mud, despite it being a weekend and not in the contract.
